Family Portraits

My brother Carl offered to take family portraits for us and they turned out great!  Thank you Carl!
Extended Rogers Family

I wish I wasn't laughing in this picture because Andy and Daniel both look pretty good in this one, but it's cute anyway.

This was Andy and Daniel the whole photo shoot.  Daniel was actually starting to walk away here and Andy almost never looked at the camera.  They're so cute though and the girls are beautiful in this picture.

Me and my love

Carl got this great picture of Daniel
While we were waiting to take family pictures, I was able to take some pictures of the kids with my iPhone camera.  They turned out great, I'm so glad I thought to take these because we forgot to have Carl take individual ones of the kids (besides some candids including Daniel above)
Best Kids Ever!

Handsome Andy

Gorgeous Grace

Darling Joy

Beautiful BethAnne

And a selfie I took of me that day.  It's not very often my hair is done (thank you to my hairstylist Julie) so I took advantage of it.
I was able to make some great Christmas cards from these pictures. Family Portraits are a huge job but I'm so glad we did it!

More Fall 2019 pictures

Here are some miscellaneous Fall pictures
Andy's been loving watching Mark Rober videos online.  Mark Rober is a former NASA engineer who makes cool videos showing things he's built or learned about.  Andy was inspired by him, and made this game where if you hit the magnet tower just right with a ball, the light inside falls over.  It really worked!

Cute fireman Daniel!

BethAnne had a big surgery in October.  It was rough, but she was tough and got through.  We were blessed to have a visit from therapy dogs on a particularly difficult day. It really got her through.

We had great fun carving pumpkins while listening to Christmas music a week before Halloween.  So much fun!

Grace was a beautiful Princess for Halloween!

Daniel and Andy were matching Star Wars X-wing pilots.  So cool!

Joy was a cat for the trunk or treat (sorry I forgot to get her picture) and a Pioneer on Halloween.  It was a beautiful night for trick or treating.

One of my favorite things is when Daniel snuggles up to me and takes a nap.  He's a great big boy, but in a lot of ways, he's still my cuddly baby and I love it!  💗

Joy's 10th Birthday

For Joy's birthday, we went to Wahooz as a family (using the passes we bought on Black Friday last year).  We took Joy's good friend Norah and we had a great time.
Joy and Norah

It was cold, but I guess not too cold for bumper boats!

Daniel found a slide on the mini golf course 😂

Really, he sleeps where and when he wants (Wahooz is so loud and I think he's taken a nap every time we've been there).

Pretty BethAnne!

Joy opening presents!
Joy got this adorable fox blanket from her friend Norah
We're so glad we have Joy in our family!  She's such a sweet, creative, joyful girl.  I don't know what I'd do without her!

Other pictures from August and September

We really enjoyed our garden this summer.  We grew these beautiful sunflowers and Mark planted some roses for me.  So pretty!

Purple is my favorite color of rose

Hannah came to play one day and I got these cute pictures.  Daniel fell asleep (he just sleeps when he wants to) and Hannah snuggled next to him for a few minutes.  Such cute cousin twins.

BethAnne started High School at Centennial.  She's taking Astronomy, ASL, Math and Seminary and she's really been enjoying it (except for trying to catch up after her surgery in October).

One day Joy was helping to watch Daniel and she made him this adorable game/scene with Batman characters and other figures.  He really enjoyed playing with it.  Joy is such a creative girl with a golden heart.

One cold/windy September day, Mark, Joy, Andy and I go to go see a show at the Birds of Prey Center.  It was really neat.

Boise is beautiful!

20th Anniversary

We decided to take an impromptu trip to Lagoon the weekend before our 20th Anniversary.  We wanted to celebrate with these beautiful children who have blessed our lives so much.  We ended up having a really great weekend
We love this sweet toddler.  It's great to experience life through these young eyes.

Andy loves Utah and Lagoon.  He says he wants to maybe live in Utah someday

Our family is officially too big to ride in just one Ferris wheel car, but we got to be next to each other.

 Beautiful, sweet girls!
Then on our actual Anniversary, Mark went all out with surprises and presents for me.  He pretty much emptied out my Amazon wishlist and did fun other surprises too.
He knows I love rainbows and he found this fun rainbow balloon set to decorate

And he got these beautiful flowers

And a card with a quote from my favorite movie, which was such a find!
I'm so very grateful that Heaven brought Mark and I together 20 years ago.  I'm so grateful for the children we have and the life we've been able to build together.  Life has lots of challenges, but there are so many blessings too.
