Spring 2019

April and May were busy at our house.  Mark started a new side job as an online teacher for an online computer science class at BYU-Idaho.  He needed a professional looking picture and we we able to take this at home using a blanket as a background.  His class took a lot more time than he was told it would, so it was a big challenge, but a good learning experience (the class ended in this last week, and he thinks he'll retire from teaching, at least for the foreseeable future).

I snapped this picture one day in April.  All four bigger kids were playing Minecraft together sitting next to each other.  Sweet, smart kids!

This isn't the best quality picture but I wanted it saved for posterity.  Daniel is a night owl and he often stays up as late as we do.  Mark and I pray as a couple before we go to sleep and Mark kneels next to the bed by me when we pray.  This spring, Daniel started going to kneel by Mark for prayers (even if he had been on the bed before prayer), it was very sweet.

Andy got his tonsils out in April and he was very brave.  Andy and Daniel enjoyed the frozen treats that were prevalent at our house during Andy's recovery.

Grace and Joy dressed up for their Cantus Concert in April
Grace and Joy were amazing again at their Cantus concert in April.  We're so glad to have this great choir nearby for the kids to participate in.
I love this picture of Daniel and Minnie Mouse.  He's so cute.

Grace made this great cake to celebrate Mother's Day, Daniel's birthday (early) and to celebrate our upcoming trip to Disney World.

Grace and Joy made these great pictures for me for Mother's Day.  So sweet!

Daniel turned 2 on our first day in Florida.  We were exhausted from getting into town in the middle of the night (early morning) after a delayed flight, so his birthday wasn't really celebrated that day (but it had been celebrated a bit before our trip).  He is massive for a 2-year-old (wearing size 4T and 5T clothes), and he's one of the sweetest toddlers ever.  He is learning new words, but he prefers to shorten most words to their first syllable, which is pretty hilarious.  He calls himself "Dan-baby" and I think I maybe need to stop calling him "baby" and "baby Daniel".  It's possible he's not a baby anymore, but I guess I'm having a hard time coming to terms with that.  He is a wonderful blessing in our family.
