Oregon Beach Vacation Day 3

We started day 3 down on the beach again.  It was supposed to be rainy all this day and the next, but the weather was quite nice most of the time.

Pretty Joy
Two boys and their stick, endless fun!
Grace was such a great help on this trip.  I love this picture with her and Daniel.

Then in the afternoon, we ventured down to see Otter Rock. We listened to Wizard for Hire, a great book, for all our long drives on the trip and the book happens to take place mainly in Otter Rock, Oregon.  We took a scenic highway on the way there that was amazing, I should have taken some pictures.
This is Devil's Punch Bowl and it's super cool in person.  This formation was mentioned in the book.
My sweet family!

The ocean was quite green that day
This is the speed limit in the subdivision, very interesting.

We had lunch that day at a bakery in the subdivision.  We had amazing crepes, savory and sweet.
I also like that our van is in this picture, it's such a great van for these trips.  We take out the back row of seats and it can hold all sorts of luggage and boxes of food and other supplies.

This is the view from the rental house, so beautiful.  I love the shadows in the picture below.

That evening we found another beach nearby, Fogarty Beach. It has a small stream that joins the ocean here. This beach was easier to walk to, a pretty flat path, but the sand is more coarse.  Joy liked it though because there were more seashells.
Daniel found lots of interesting treasures on the beach.
This was a beautiful night also, with big, neat clouds.
One more Oregon day to go...
