We drove to Seattle on Monday and enjoyed listening to more of our audio book. We got settled into our hotel in the evening and went to sleep. The next day I had to get a Covid test in the morning (a precautionary requirement for those having certain procedures). Then I went and took a nap at the hotel until my MRI in the afternoon. The MRI was not pleasant, but after that we went to see some sites near Seattle. We went and saw the hospital where Joy was born and our old neighborhood in Redmond. Then we drove to Snoqualmie Falls and we had a few minutes to enjoy its splendor.
There are beautiful flowers in Washington too. Purple, my favorite!
My favorite part of our Seattle trip was going to dinner at Melynie and Josh's house that night. Their family is so lovely and the dinner was splendid. It's been several years since we saw them but we picked up right where we left off. Even our kids got along great.
The next day we visited with Dr Ross and then I had an endoscopic ultrasound. I had a reaction to a medicine they gave me after the anesthesia so it was a difficult night, but I was better by the next day. We didn't find out much in Seattle. They confirmed that I have pancreas divisum. That can cause pancreatitis, but it doesn't in most people. They could enlarge the small pancreas duct, but that can be risky, so we're not going to do that yet. We at least ruled out other issues, so that's good. The next day we had a nice drive home. All in all, life is good and we're blessed.

I think those are rhododendrons too!
