On our first afternoon, we went to Big Tree Wayside to see Big tree and walk through the forest. It was amazing as always. A kind stranger took our picture in front of big tree and they turned out great.

We stopped in Crescent City for dinner and then we got back to Brookings just in time to watch the sunset from the back patio. So pretty.
That was the end of day 1 of our trip.
