January and February

January was busy with unpacking and getting settled in to our new house.  Joy was able to start going back to Legacy Academy (which was a big blessing), but 2 weeks into the new year, she came down with Covid (there was an outbreak at her school, and in the Treasure Valley in general).  Joy was the sickest in our family, it was like a bad cold, and she also got a sinus infection. So it's taken her awhile to feel better (especially because she got another cold and sinus infection a few weeks after that).  But the rest of us had mild symptoms (or no symptoms) of Covid.  We are very grateful that it passed us by so easily, and we are so grateful that we were able to be vaccinated.  We mourn for the many people who were lost the last couple years.  Covid seems to be turning into a milder endemic now (fingers crossed), but it's been a tough couple of years.

In lighter news, Grace has enjoyed being at the Fine Arts Academy this year and on Thursday she got to go to her first formal dance.
She looked lovely and had a great time!
Thursday, February 24th, was also BethAnne's birthday (I can't believe my baby is 19!).  We celebrated by taking her out to Lucky Fins for dinner, so yummy! BethAnne's health continues to be a struggle and we continue to seek for answers.  She has seen some relief from her constant migraines this last month, and we're very grateful for that.  We hope and pray for continued answers.
I took this picture a few days ago and realized that Andy is kind of my twin.  He is such a sweet boy.  He's doing great at school and he is obedient and kind at home.  I'm so grateful for him!
Our hearts are heavy right now as we watch the situation with Ukraine (Russia has invaded and Ukraine is fighting for their freedom).  I saw this quote online.  We pray for peace and freedom.  We also pray that the conflict will not escalate further to involve more nations.  Stay safe dear friends and family.  Love you all.
